A custom dimension

Status: Planned. A dimension with its own terrain, a portal and travel rules. Nothing on this page is in the API yet; the names in the final API may differ.

What this will cover

This guide will build a dimension once extra dimensions are generated and the dimension API exists (Dimensions and biomes).

What you can do today

• Change the three vanilla dimensions with data packs (dimension types, noise settings where the server reads them).
• Move players between the vanilla dimensions with cl_cmd_run("execute in ... run tp ...").
